NOTE: While attendance to this session is free for all participants, entry is not guaranteed. Seating will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, and once the venue reaches its maximum capacity, access will be closed.

Quantum Technology Challenge 2024 (QTC 2024) sees Australia’s best quantum thinkers competing to demonstrate how quantum technologies can solve critical Army problems and deliver unprecedented capabilities.

Quantum technology doesn’t provide new weapons or redefine systems. Instead, it exploits the fundamental laws of nature and has presented Army with unprecedented capabilities in the three key areas of:

sensing and imaging
communications and cryptography
computing and simulation

QTC demonstrates Army’s commitment to developing defence industry and academia technologies, to prepare new quantum technologies for transition into capability for land forces.
