PROGRAM HAS BEEN RELEASED FOR LAND FORCES 2024

The Land Forces 2024 program, spanning three days from Wednesday 11 -  Friday 13 September, will assemble top experts from industry, government, and academia.

Together, they will delve into a comprehensive array of discussions addressing the challenges and opportunities in today's land defence sector.

In collaboration with convener partners, the Australian Army, the Australian Association for Uncrewed Systems (AAUS), the Australian Industry Defence Network (AIDN), and the Department of Defence, among others, Land Forces 2024 promises an extensive daily program filled with valuable insights.

Land Forces Program highlights include:

  • Australian Army at Land Forces - The Australian Army will proudly host the Chief of Army Symposium (CAS) 2024, Army Innovation Day (AID) and the Army Quantum Technology Challenge (WTC) expositions on the first two days of Land Forces 2024 and open to all attendees. 
  • AAUS - Autonomy in the Joint Military Battlespace - Presented by the Australian Association for Uncrewed Systems (AAUS), Autonomy in the Joint Military Battespace will foster engagement between defence and industry on the evolving use of autonomy and uncrewed systems for defence applications. 
  • The Land Forces 2024 Hub - The Land Forces Hub will present a three day program of speakers, each expert thought leaders on their respective topics of choice, aimed at showcasing the opportunities and challenges facing the global land defence community today and into the future.
  • Optimising Health Response through Military and Civilian Integration: A United Approach - Aspen Medical's Dr Katrina Sanders will explore the role of communication, coordination, training, and contemporary healthcare delivery methods illustrating how integrating military precision and civilian long-term capability can lead to more effective health responses.
  • Doing Business with Defence seminar hosted by the Australian Industry and Defence Network (AIDN). This seminar has been developed to provide insights to SMEs about workign with Defence and navigating the Defence Tendering process.
  • How do Space Services Enable Warfighting in the Land Domain - Hosted by Space Industry Association of Australia (SIAA), this panel will address the role of space capability and space services in enabling warfighting in the Land Domain with perspectives from the Australian Army, the Space Industry Association of Australia and Australian space industry primes.
  • Capability Acquisition and Sustainable Group Fireside Chat - Hosted by Department of Defence; Fireside talk with Deputy Secretary CASG, Chris Deeble; Deputy Secretary NSSG, Jim McDowell; and Chief GWEO, Air Marshall Leon Phillips OAM.

Additional conferences, presentations and sessions as part of the extensive Land Forces 2024 program will be announced periodically in the lead up to the event.
