Mobility Made Easy by Polaris

Polaris Defense Family of Light Vehicles

The Australian Defence Force (ADF) and the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) have relied on tactical and utility off-road vehicles from Polaris Industries Australia & New Zealand for more than 25 years.

An Australia-based team provides localised and dedicated support to the ADF and NZDF, handling training, maintenance, parts supply and configuration management to deliver a complete capability.

As the current provider of All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV) to the ADF, Polaris provides the Sportsman 6x6 Big Boss and has delivered hundreds to the service.

Former Defence Minister Kevin Andrews has said, “The vehicles are highly successful due to their high degree of mobility in difficult terrain and their ability to be inserted and extracted by ADF land, air and sea assets.”

The newest tactical vehicle from Polaris Government and Defense is the MRZR Alpha, and it will be available for demos in-country soon. Designed on an all-new chassis, the MRZR Alpha is an entirely new breed of light tactical vehicle providing a new level of durability, performance, and payload.

Vehicle systems were also designed with near-future innovation in mind, with an architecture ready to accept emerging technologies and capabilities. The MRZR Alpha’s versatility is further enhanced by improved exportable power and increased payload.

The recently launched Polaris RANGER XP Kinetic features an entirely new all-electric powertrain providing a sustainable option for base and range transportation needs. It provides more power than ever with industry-leading horsepower to pull more and haul more.

The electric powertrain also delivers instantaneous torque for precise control when pulling or towing heavy loads; along with fewer moving parts for lower maintenance costs and more uptime for increased productivity. Plus, the quiet electric powertrain means easier radio and face-to-face conversations and the option to work at all hours without disturbing anyone.
