A future-focused design suite for mission critical vehicles will be on display at LAND FORCES 2022.
In military, humanitarian, heavy vehicle and security operations, electrical wiring can be the difference between life or death, which is why UK-based Cadonix have evolved their design suite for rapid, optimal collaboration.
Arcadia is the world’s only truly cloud-based specialty wire harness design suite, a complete, end-to-end web browser-based ECAD tool.
Cadonix Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Andrew Armstrong said Arcadia would be on display at Land Forces 2022 along with expert designers to run free tutorials and demonstrations.
“Land Forces 2022 represents an opportunity for engineers to get up close to Arcadia and see for themselves why it’s the leading-edge tool in automotive electrical design,” he said.
“Arcadia is being used globally by hundreds of engineers in almost every field imaginable, to produce their electrical designs.
“Arcadia has been designed for electrical engineers by electrical engineers, so you can spend more time on designs, rather than the design tools.
“With Arcadia, you can collaborate, work all over the world, connect remotely and communicate internally and with clients easily in a totally compatible way.
“This is a revolution for the industry, which has until now relied on specific file types, dedicated hardware, industry specific design platforms which don’t communicate with one another easily or translate to clients well.
“Arcadia means that with any type of device, connected to the web, you can design, save, collaborate and problem solve.”
Arcadia helps electrical engineers create validated wiring diagrams, wire and cable harness layouts, formboards and manufacturing documentation quickly and accurately, like never before.
The design suite includes comprehensive capabilities from design, simulation, manufacturing, documentation, costing and quoting.
“Arcadia can be instantly operational and scalable with flexible licensing for businesses of all sizes, from solo operators to major consultancies, with minimal training – you're up and running within hours,” Dr Armstrong said.
“It also takes away the pain of lost time quoting – without Arcadia engineers have to essential initiate an entire project just to quote, but Arcadia can read from a number of industry standard tools to create a quote automatically.”
Cadonix offer a free evaluation and trial of Arcadia for engineers interested in finding out more.
Cadonix is an engineering and technology company based in Oxford, UK, assisting companies involved the design and manufacture of electrical systems. See them on POD44 at LAND FORCES 2022.
